📋 Description

• As a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Voodoo SAS, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical foundation that supports one of the world’s top mobile publishers, powering services used by over 200 million active users and enabling the delivery of chart-topping games and apps like Mob Control, Block Jam, BeReal, and Wizz. Your leadership will directly impact the scalability, reliability, and performance of systems that serve millions globally, ensuring Voodoo remains at the forefront of mobile innovation.
• You will define and drive the availability, scalability, and performance architecture for service environments, setting the standard for the team by establishing best practices and long-term infrastructure strategy. This includes continual re-evaluation of the existing stack to proactively ensure optimal performance, availability, and security, while leading the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and services across the organization.
• You will spearhead the strategy for automating infrastructure deployment and configuration, leading the creation and standardization of CI/CD pipelines for applications and driving best practices across the engineering organization. This involves performing development, automation, and deployment assignments as a subject matter expert and ultimate escalation point, while providing hands-on cloud technology leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members.
• You will develop advanced security capabilities and lead the strategy and implementation of security best practices and architecture changes throughout the company through evangelism and education, ensuring robust protection for Voodoo’s platforms and data.
• You will control costs, forecast infrastructure needs, and propose and lead the implementation of new solutions in coordination with development teams, balancing technical excellence with fiscal responsibility to support sustainable growth.
• You will work onsite in Paris three days per week, collaborating closely with the Engineering & Data team to build innovative tech products and platforms that support Voodoo’s gaming and consumer apps, contributing to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow as a technical leader, deepening your expertise in cloud-native architectures, infrastructure as code, and large-scale distributed systems while influencing the future direction of Voodoo’s technical stack and mentoring the next generation of engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of Linux experience including deep expertise with scripting, networks, storage, and release management
• 5+ years in the build process and maintenance of continuous integration environments with extensive AWS experience, including complex architectural design
• 5+ years working with Kubernetes, including managing large-scale, production clusters
• Expert-level understanding of infrastructure as code and immutability principles (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Proven experience designing and maintaining high traffic, distributed systems architectures and related tools (service discovery, config/secret management, etc.)
• Proficiency in any scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.)
