đź“‹ Description

  • • Lyrebird Health is at the forefront of revolutionizing healthcare by automating the most time-consuming administrative tasks for clinicians. Our innovative platform is already trusted by thousands of healthcare professionals across a diverse range of disciplines, and this user base is expanding rapidly. We understand that this trust is paramount, and our commitment is to continuously earn and uphold it while consistently exceeding user expectations.
  • • As a Lead Forward-Deployed Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving technical delivery on the ground within the UK market. This is a unique and dynamic role that transcends conventional backend or frontend engineering positions. You will operate at the critical nexus of engineering, product development, and customer engagement, taking full ownership of the deployment process.
  • • Your responsibilities will include shaping and tailoring solutions in collaboration with our early UK partners, ensuring that Lyrebird Health's offerings precisely meet their evolving needs. Furthermore, you will act as a vital conduit, channeling real-world insights and feedback directly from the field back into the core platform, thereby influencing its future development and enhancing its capabilities.
  • • This is an exceptional opportunity to be one of the foundational engineering hires in the UK. As the local team expands, you will have a clear and defined trajectory to grow into a leadership position, potentially evolving into a Team Lead or Engineering Manager role. Your impact will be immediate and significant, shaping both our technical strategy and our customer relationships in a key growth market.
  • • You will be the primary technical point of contact for our UK-based customers, building strong relationships and ensuring their success with the Lyrebird Health platform. This involves understanding their workflows, identifying potential challenges, and proactively offering technical solutions and best practices.
  • • Your role will encompass the end-to-end deployment lifecycle, from initial technical assessment and integration planning to successful rollout and ongoing support. This requires a deep understanding of our platform's architecture and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving in diverse clinical environments.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the Product and Engineering teams based remotely, providing crucial on-the-ground feedback that informs product roadmaps and feature development. This feedback loop is essential for ensuring our platform remains relevant, competitive, and aligned with the practical demands of the healthcare sector.
  • • You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that may arise during deployment or in production, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations. This demands a high degree of technical acumen, resourcefulness, and a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • • You will contribute to the development of technical documentation, best practices guides, and training materials for both internal teams and external users, helping to scale our support and implementation capabilities.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for customer success. You should be comfortable working autonomously, taking initiative, and navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • • You will play a key role in identifying and evaluating new technical opportunities and partnerships within the UK healthcare landscape, contributing to Lyrebird Health's strategic growth.
  • • This role requires a hands-on approach, where you will not only guide technical strategy but also be willing to roll up your sleeves and implement solutions directly when needed. Your ability to bridge the gap between high-level strategy and practical execution will be critical.
  • • You will be a champion for Lyrebird Health within the UK healthcare community, building our reputation and fostering strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including IT departments, clinical leads, and administrative staff.
  • • Your insights will be invaluable in helping us understand the unique regulatory and operational nuances of the UK healthcare system, ensuring our platform is compliant and optimized for local use.
  • • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our deployment processes, identifying areas for automation, efficiency gains, and enhanced user experience.
  • • This position offers a unique chance to shape the technical direction and customer success strategy for Lyrebird Health in a significant international market, with substantial opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in a customer-facing engineering role, such as Solutions Engineer, Field Engineer, or Technical Account Manager, with a strong emphasis on technical delivery and customer success.
  • • Solid understanding of software development principles, deployment processes, and troubleshooting methodologies. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
  • • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • • Self-starter mentality with a strong sense of ownership, proactive problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • • Familiarity with the UK healthcare landscape, including its operational workflows, regulatory requirements, and key stakeholders, is a significant advantage.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive salary and equity package.
  • • Opportunity to be a foundational member of a rapidly growing health tech company.
  • • Significant impact on product development and company strategy.
  • • Clear career progression path with opportunities for leadership growth.
  • • Flexible working arrangements within the UK.
  • • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits.
