📋 Description

• As the Lead IT Engineer for Cashalo at Tilth, you will own and evolve the technical infrastructure powering operations in Manila, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of systems that support millions of customers accessing fair credit through innovative, machine learning-driven financial products. This role is critical to maintaining the backbone of a fintech that looks beyond traditional credit scores to empower underserved workers with real-time financial inclusion.
• Day to day, you will: manage on-premises servers, Mediatel systems, and 400–500 GSM gateways that enable Cashalo’s agent network operations; lead the delivery of high-impact infrastructure projects including firewall replacement, RADIUS/AD/Meraki Wi-Fi migration, and zero trust network rollout; oversee cloud and identity management through user provisioning, MDM, and secure access controls for SaaS tools; own IT compliance by driving audit preparation and execution to uphold rigorous governance standards; and manage vendor relationships with urgency and precision to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of infrastructure initiatives.
• You will join a globally distributed, mission-driven team spanning 14 countries and 12 time zones, where collaboration is virtual-first and excellence is pursued with humility and mutual respect. 🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience owning and managing complex end-to-end IT environments, including networks, servers, identity systems, and compliance frameworks — not just isolated components.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver infrastructure projects such as firewall replacements, identity migrations (RADIUS/AD), Wi-Fi upgrades (Meraki), and zero trust network implementations.
• Hands-on experience managing cloud tools, user provisioning, MDM, and access control systems with a strong focus on security hygiene and governance.
• Track record of successfully managing vendor relationships for infrastructure projects, ensuring accountability, timeliness, and technical rigor.
• Ability to communicate complex technical initiatives clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating deep technical work into actionable insights.
• Experience maintaining audit-ready environments and leading IT compliance efforts, including preparation for internal and external audits.
