📋 Description

• As Lead Product Designer at Aspora, you will be responsible for taking the company’s international fintech platform to the next level in both user experience and visual design, leading the product design process from early-stage user research through to the delivery of polished, production-ready experiences.
• You will own and evolve the design system, mentor and support a small team of designers, and collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Growth teams to define user-centered features and drive clear flows in a fast-moving, often ambiguous environment.
• Aspora is building a borderless financial operating system for people on the move, backed by top-tier investors including Sequoia Capital and Y Combinator, with a team of 150+ across India, the UK, the UAE, EU, and the US, operating with extreme ownership, radical candour, and an obsession with customer impact.
• In this role, you will set a clear vision for design while delivering high-quality work yourself, shaping the future of global banking for immigrants, scaling a world-class design system, and growing your leadership and craft in a dynamic, early-stage environment where your work will have significant impact.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience, ideally within consumer-facing platforms
• Proven leadership in scaling design systems and mentoring junior designers
• Mastery in tools like Figma (or similar), prototyping, and responsive design principles
• Strong UX fundamentals and ability to translate research insights into elegant, human-centered designs
• Skilled collaborator who works effectively with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders in a dynamic cross-functional environment
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity with high ownership, whilst optimising for speed
