📋 Description

• As a Lead Product Designer at Tide Platform Limited, you will own the design vision for a core business area within the Tide platform, ensuring a cohesive and frictionless customer experience that integrates seamlessly with the broader ecosystem, directly contributing to Tide’s mission of helping SMEs save time and money.
• Day to day, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Writers, and User Researchers to turn complex business problems into elegant design solutions, drive the end-to-end design process from discovery and research to high-fidelity execution, lead research sessions, analyze usage data, champion a user-centric culture, and evolve the Tide Design System.
• You will join Tide’s rapidly growing Insurance team, launched in 2025 in the UK and India, which is building a world-class offering for SMEs; Tide is a global fintech serving over 2 million members across the UK, India, Germany, and France, with over 2,800 employees and recognized as a Great Place to Work for three consecutive years.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in designing for complex financial and insurance services, strengthen your leadership and mentoring capabilities, advance your proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools, and grow your impact by shaping user experiences that drive business outcomes for millions of small businesses.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Product Design, ideally within a SaaS, Fintech, or high-growth scale-up environment
• Proven track record of leading design workstreams and mentoring or managing junior designers
• Experience designing for complex user flows, business tools, or financial / insurance services
• In-depth knowledge of User Experience and Product Design methodologies, with experience facilitating workshops and design sprints
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma and advanced prototyping tools
• Comfortable working in an agile environment and navigating the ambiguity of a rapidly scaling business
• Data-driven approach to design, with experience using tools like Looker, Heap, GA, or Hotjar to inform and validate decisions
• A relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
