• • As a Lead Product Designer at Tide Platform Limited, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of financial services for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). You will own the design vision for a critical business area within the Tide platform, ensuring a cohesive, intuitive, and frictionless customer experience that seamlessly integrates with our broader ecosystem. This role is pivotal in transforming how SMEs manage their finances, empowering them to save time and money so they can focus on what they love.
• • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, UX Writers, and User Researchers. Your role will involve translating complex business challenges into elegant, user-centered design solutions. This collaborative approach ensures that our products are not only functional but also delightful to use, meeting the diverse needs of our global SME members.
• • The scope of your responsibilities covers the entire design process, from initial discovery and in-depth user research to journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and the execution of high-fidelity designs. You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end design lifecycle, ensuring that every touchpoint of the user experience is meticulously crafted and aligned with our strategic goals.
• • A core aspect of this role is cultivating a deep understanding of our members. You will achieve this by leading user research sessions, analyzing usage data, and clearly articulating the “what, why, and how” behind the problems we aim to solve. This user-centric approach ensures that our design decisions are grounded in genuine member needs and insights.
• • You will act as a champion for a user-centric culture throughout the Product and Engineering departments. By advocating for member needs and demonstrating the strategic value of a Design Thinking methodology, you will influence product strategy and foster a shared understanding of user-centered design principles.
• • A key responsibility will be to evolve and maintain the Tide Design System. You will work within our established principles and contribute to our shared component libraries, ensuring brand consistency, scalability, and efficiency across all our products. This involves not only adhering to existing guidelines but also actively contributing to their improvement and expansion.
