• As the Lead Product Designer at JustPlay, you will be instrumental in defining and elevating the design vision and function for a product used by millions worldwide. • In this leadership capacity, you will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and nurturing the growth of our talented design team. • You will manage, mentor, and provide comprehensive support to a team of product designers working across iOS, Android, and web platforms, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality design output.
• A core part of your mandate will be to build and foster a culture of exceptional craft, seamless collaboration, and ongoing learning within the design team.
• You will act as a champion for product design throughout the entire organization, effectively educating stakeholders and establishing robust, design-led practices that influence product strategy and execution.
• You will drive measurable business outcomes by making design decisions that skillfully balance player delight with the company's growth imperatives.
• You will actively promote and integrate AI-assisted design tools to streamline creative workflows, enhance design quality, and accelerate delivery velocity, always maintaining a strong bias towards both quality and speed.
• In a hands-on capacity, you will create user-centric designs, detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished mockups for the JustPlay application.
• You will develop innovative features specifically designed to elevate the entire player journey, with a particular emphasis on enhancing game discovery and implementing sophisticated loyalty gamification mechanics.
• You will be responsible for building and evolving JustPlay's comprehensive design guidelines and its core design system, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• In collaboration and strategy, you will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to devise innovative solutions that operate effectively within defined technical constraints.
• You will apply platform best practices for iOS and Android to guarantee exceptional design quality and ensure seamless, intuitive interactions across all devices.
• You will transform research insights and analytical data into actionable design concepts that directly address user needs and business goals.
• You will work collaboratively with cross-functional leaders to identify strategic opportunities where AI and automation can significantly streamline design operations and improve efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a mobile product design team, ideally within the entertainment or gaming industry.
• Proven experience in scaling or refining established design teams and processes to support growth.
• A strong portfolio showcasing impactful mobile design work, demonstrating expertise in user-centric design and problem-solving.
• Demonstrated expertise in gamification strategies and user engagement techniques.
• Expert proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a deep commitment to design craft and quality.
