- • As a Lead Product Designer on Deel’s Connectivity team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the platform infrastructure that enables seamless integrations, developer experiences, and partner ecosystems—directly impacting how global businesses scale and connect talent across borders.
- • You will lead by doing: balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution to elevate design quality, mentor a small team, and ship intuitive, self-serve experiences for developers, enterprise clients, and internal ops teams navigating complex technical surfaces.
- • You’ll partner with PDE Directors to define the long-term vision for Deel’s Connectivity platform, unifying fragmented experiences across API documentation, integration flows, partner portals, and AI-powered tools like Deel Inbox into a coherent, scalable ecosystem.
- • In operator mode, you’ll work side-by-side with designers on active B2B, developer-facing, and platform projects—refining UX, translating technical constraints into intuitive flows, and raising the bar for craft and usability in real time.
- • You’ll manage and develop a small team of designers through hands-on collaboration, providing coaching, setting clarity, and fostering a culture where research, data, and execution are valued equally.
- • You’ll champion AI-informed design, experimenting with AI tools to enhance workflows and shape AI-powered product experiences, while ensuring human-centered outcomes remain central to complex system designs.
- • You’ll measure success through adoption and integration metrics, using data to inform decisions that serve both startup developers and enterprise clients with differing needs.
- • You’ll thrive in Deel’s high-velocity environment—making decisive calls under ambiguity, leading by example, and putting team growth and outcomes above process or politics.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years in Product Design with 3+ years at a senior IC level (Lead/Staff)
- • Minimum 1.5 years of experience managing designers (up to 5 direct reports)
- • Proven experience designing for API/developer products, integrations, or platform ecosystems
- • Strong craft in interaction and visual design across B2B, developer, and enterprise surfaces
- • Comfortable working with complex system architecture and technical constraints
- • Experience designing for documentation, onboarding flows, and developer-facing UX
- • Data-savvy: able to measure success through adoption and integration metrics
- • Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows or AI-powered product experiences
- • Understanding of both enterprise and startup user needs in multi-sided platforms
