• • As a Lead Product Designer for the KYX & Access Management Speedboat team at Tide, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of how small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) establish and maintain their identity with our platform. This pivotal role involves owning the design vision for a critical business area, ensuring a seamless and intuitive customer experience that integrates flawlessly with Tide's broader ecosystem.
• • You will be at the forefront of rethinking our Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) processes, tackling the most significant identity verification challenges faced by micro, small, and medium enterprises. Your primary focus will be on dramatically reducing friction and crafting world-class verification experiences that not only facilitate smooth onboarding but also ensure continuous, hassle-free verification for our members.

You will be a key player in driving the end-to-end design process, from the initial stages of discovery and journey mapping, through in-depth user research, to the meticulous execution of high-fidelity designs.

You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Writers, and User Researchers, transforming complex business problems into elegant and effective design solutions. Your ability to foster strong cross-functional relationships will be crucial for success.
• • Cultivating a deep understanding of our members is paramount. You will lead research sessions, meticulously analyze usage data, and clearly articulate the "what, why, and how" behind the problems your designs aim to solve. This user-centric approach will ensure that our solutions are not only functional but also deeply resonate with the needs of our diverse SME user base.
• • You will champion a robust user-centric culture throughout the Product and Engineering teams, acting as a strong advocate for member needs. Your efforts will highlight the strategic value of adopting a Design Thinking approach to problem-solving and product development.
• • A significant part of your role will involve evolving the Tide Design System. You will work within its established principles and contribute to our shared component libraries, ensuring brand consistency and scalability across all our products and features.
• • You will be responsible for leading design workstreams, mentoring junior designers, and contributing to the overall design strategy of the company. Your leadership will guide the team towards creating impactful and user-friendly solutions.
