• • As a Lead Product Designer for the KYX & Access Management Speedboat team at Tide, you will be instrumental in shaping the foundational tools that enable our Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) members to seamlessly verify their identity and embark on their business journey.
• • This pivotal role involves taking ownership of the design vision for a critical business area within the Tide platform, ensuring a cohesive, intuitive, and frictionless customer experience that integrates flawlessly with our broader ecosystem.
• • You will be at the forefront of rethinking our Identity Verification processes, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB), tackling the most significant identity challenges faced by micro, small, and medium enterprises.
• • Your primary focus will be on significantly reducing friction and crafting world-class verification experiences that empower our members to get set up quickly and maintain verified status consistently.
• • We are seeking an individual who is not only passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences but also possesses the strategic vision and practical skills to bring them to life within a high-growth, dynamic scale-up environment.
• • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, UX Writers, and User Researchers, to transform complex business problems into elegant and effective design solutions.
• • The role demands driving the entire end-to-end design process, from the initial stages of discovery and journey mapping, through rigorous research, to the meticulous execution of high-fidelity designs.
• • Cultivating a deep, empathetic understanding of our members is paramount. This will involve leading research sessions, meticulously analyzing usage data, and clearly articulating the "what, why, and how" behind the problems your designs aim to solve.
• • You will act as a champion for a user-centric culture, advocating passionately for member needs within Product and Engineering teams, and effectively demonstrating the strategic value and impact of a Design Thinking approach.
• • A key responsibility will be to evolve and contribute to the Tide Design System, working within its established principles and component libraries to ensure unwavering brand consistency and scalability across all products.

• • You must be comfortable operating within an agile development environment, adept at navigating the inherent ambiguity that comes with working in a rapidly scaling business.
• • A data-informed approach to design is highly valued. You will leverage tools such as Looker, Heap, Google Analytics, or Hotjar to inform, validate, and iterate on design decisions, ensuring solutions are grounded in user behavior and business impact.
