📋 Description

• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive risk management capabilities across Highmark Health, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Risk & Governance division and subject matter experts to deliver risk assessment support and strategic recommendations directly to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Design, establish, and maintain risk quantification models that support enterprise risk reporting, including risk profile visualization against established risk appetite levels and aggregation of risk data across subsidiaries.
• Oversee the creation and ongoing maintenance of enterprise risk dashboards and reports used for fiduciary reporting, audit committee disclosures, and executive decision-making.
• Support the identification, documentation, and continuous updating of the Enterprise Risk Inventory and Risk Tolerance Metrics to ensure accuracy and relevance to organizational priorities.
• Advance the enterprise risk appetite framework and risk taxonomy to ensure consistency with internal policies and external regulatory mandates, including periodic reviews and reporting.
• Coordinate the annual divisional risk profile development and manage centralized ad-hoc enterprise risk reporting requests from senior leadership.
• Present complex compliance, quality, and risk issues to executive audiences with clarity and strategic insight, translating technical findings into actionable business intelligence.
• Demonstrate strong documentation and reporting skills to produce accurate, timely, and audit-ready risk documentation and presentations.
• Work independently and as part of cross-functional teams under pressure, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ensure all risk activities comply with HIPAA, company privacy policies, and information security standards, protecting sensitive health and customer data at all times.
• Provide guidance and training to team members and stakeholders on risk management practices, risk reporting standards, and regulatory compliance expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the evolving risk management needs of the organization.

🎯 Requirements

• 7 years of experience in Compliance, Quality, Public Policy, Government Affairs, Project Management, Healthcare Operations, or Law
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Public Policy, Healthcare, Information Technology, Information Security, or equivalent experience/education
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to model and interpret risk data
