- • Lead/Senior Product Designer role at Pebl Technologies Inc., responsible for owning and evolving the company’s design system while applying it to solve meaningful product challenges in a global work platform context.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include evolving design system components, patterns, documentation, and governance; partnering with product, engineering, and design teams to ensure system adoption and alignment with real product use cases; contributing directly to product design work by applying and extending the system to solve end-to-end user problems; identifying gaps through product work and translating them into reusable improvements; driving consistency, accessibility, and quality across all product experiences; establishing best practices for system usage, contribution models, and design-to-development workflows; leading initiatives to improve design efficiency, velocity, and cross-team alignment; mentoring designers on systems thinking and product design craft; and collaborating on product strategy with a systems lens to address complex, ambiguous problem spaces.

- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in design systems at scale, gain experience integrating AI into design toolkits, strengthen cross-functional leadership and mentorship abilities, influence product strategy through a systems-thinking approach, and contribute to building a scalable, accessible, and high-quality design language that empowers global teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
- • Minimum 6 years of experience in product design, with meaningful experience contributing to or owning design systems
- • Strong portfolio demonstrating both design systems work and end-to-end product design
- • Experience partnering closely with engineering to bring systems to life in code
- • Deep understanding of accessibility standards and scalable design practices
- • Ability to balance consistency with flexibility—knowing when to standardize vs. customize
- • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a team-first mindset
- • Comfort operating in fast-paced environments and navigating ambiguity
