• This specific role is for a high-impact project with one of the Big Four accounting firms, the world's largest professional services network. You will be instrumental in developing and enhancing critical systems for this prestigious organization.
• As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of technical execution, responsible for a wide range of activities that ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and high-quality software solutions. Your core responsibilities will encompass comprehensive requirements analysis, meticulous system design, and hands-on .NET development. You will also be involved in database development, intricate troubleshooting, proactive performance tuning, and providing essential technical support to ensure the smooth operation of the application.
• A crucial aspect of your role will be to uphold the highest standards of code quality. This involves actively performing code reviews for your team members, ensuring adherence to best practices, promoting efficient coding techniques, and fostering a culture of technical excellence. • As a Lead Software Engineer, you will provide crucial technical leadership. This involves mentoring and coaching junior and mid-level engineers, sharing your expertise, and leading by example. Your leadership will inspire the team, foster professional growth, and drive the technical direction of the project.
• The project utilizes a modern and robust technology stack, including Azure Cloud, a Microservices Architecture, .NET 8, ASP.NET Core services, MongoDB, Azure SQL, Angular 18, Kendo UI components, GitHub Enterprise with GitHub Copilot for enhanced development, and Python for specific functionalities. Your deep understanding and application of these technologies will be key to your success.
• You will contribute to the architectural design and implementation of microservices, ensuring scalability, resilience, and maintainability. Your involvement in the Azure Cloud ecosystem will include leveraging various SaaS offerings such as Azure Service Bus, Blob Storage, and Azure Cache for Redis, among others, to build sophisticated cloud-native applications.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on the .NET ecosystem.
• Proven expertise in .NET Core and ASP.NET Core for building robust web services and applications.
• Proficiency in database technologies, specifically with experience in MongoDB and/or Azure SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services, including familiarity with SaaS offerings like Azure Service Bus, Blob Storage, and Azure Cache for Redis.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture principles and practical experience in implementing scalable systems using this approach.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking systems and version control systems (e.g., GitHub Enterprise).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic approach to balancing process with flexibility.
• Excellent organizational and self-management skills, including the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Intermediate+ level of English proficiency.
