• Qodeworld is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Liferay Lead Architect to join our dynamic development team. • As a Liferay Lead Architect, your responsibilities will be broad and impactful, encompassing the full lifecycle of Liferay DXP solutions. You will be tasked with developing and customizing a wide array of Liferay DXP components, including intricate portlets, visually appealing themes, flexible layouts, and essential hooks, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. A significant part of your role will involve designing and implementing sophisticated Java-based components and services specifically tailored for the Liferay environment, adhering to best practices and architectural standards. You will also be at the forefront of front-end development, crafting engaging user interfaces using core web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, potentially incorporating modern frameworks to enhance user experience and interactivity.
• Integration is key in today's interconnected digital landscape, and you will play a crucial role in integrating Liferay DXP with various other enterprise systems, ensuring data flow and system synergy. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the development and meticulous maintenance of Liferay workflows, automating business processes and streamlining operations. A critical aspect of this role is the continuous optimization of Liferay performance, ensuring our platforms are fast, scalable, and reliable. You will also be the go-to expert for troubleshooting and resolving complex Liferay-related issues, maintaining the stability and efficiency of our deployed solutions. The ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical designs is essential. You will also be involved in defining and enforcing development methodologies and processes to ensure efficient and high-quality project delivery. 🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Liferay development, with a significant portion focused on Liferay DXP architecture and implementation.
• Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE development, including deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Proven experience with Liferay DXP architecture, development lifecycle, and best practices, including portlets, themes, hooks, and layouts.
• Expertise in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and experience with at least one modern front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and data modeling.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients.
• Experience with Liferay Faces, OSGi module development, Liferay Workflow, and Liferay Search is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and associated tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Liferay certifications are considered a strong asset.
