- • As a Machine Learning Engineer at Pluralsight, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how learners discover and engage with educational content by building scalable, production-grade machine learning systems that power personalized recommendations and adaptive learning experiences. Your work directly impacts learner outcomes by ensuring the right content reaches the right person at the right time, driving engagement, skill acquisition, and career growth for thousands of users worldwide.
- • You will collaborate closely with Data Scientists to productionize prototype models, turning research into reliable, customer-facing solutions; design and implement robust data pipelines to ingest, clean, and transform diverse data streams for model consumption; partner with Product Managers and UX Designers to align technical capabilities with user needs and usability goals; continuously evaluate model performance and user experience metrics to identify improvement opportunities; and advocate for best practices in ML engineering, including reproducibility, monitoring, and explainability, to ensure systems are maintainable and trustworthy.
- • Pluralsight is a mission-driven leader in technology upskilling, trusted by enterprises, governments, and individuals globally to deliver cutting-edge content in AI, cloud, cybersecurity, software development, and more. The company fosters a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning, where engineers are empowered to experiment, grow, and contribute meaningfully to the future of tech education.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in end-to-end ML systems engineering, gain hands-on experience deploying models at scale using cloud-native tools like Docker and Kubernetes, strengthen your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to cross-functional audiences, and contribute to products that directly impact lifelong learning and career advancement — positioning you as a key contributor in the intersection of machine learning and educational technology.

- • Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and core data structures; familiarity with database fundamentals (SQL/NoSQL), RESTful API design, and software engineering best practices.
- • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes), continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for deploying scalable ML services.
- • Ability to clearly explain machine learning concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and designers.
- • Preferred: Experience with Node.js and TypeScript; prior work in recommendation systems, personalization, or user-centric ML applications.

- • Competitive base salary range of $121,600 – $160,000 USD, with bonus eligibility and additional compensation based on performance, location, and experience.
- • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage; unlimited paid time off (PTO); wellness reimbursement; and professional development funds for courses, certifications, and conferences.
- • Mission-driven culture focused on inclusion, belonging, and continuous learning — where you can grow your skills while making a tangible impact on global tech upskilling.
- • Flexible remote work arrangement with expected on-site collaboration (Tuesday–Thursday) for those within 45 miles of Westlake/Dallas, TX office; remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.
- • Access to Pluralsight’s own learning platform for unlimited skill development in emerging technologies, including AI, ML, cloud, and more.
