• • As a Machine Learning Engineer at Addi, your primary mission will be to accelerate the transition of ML models from prototype to production, ensuring our AI systems are resilient, cost-efficient, and seamlessly integrated into our core financial products. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining the operational backbone of our AI initiatives, from credit scoring to advanced generative agents.
• • Your responsibilities will span the entire ML lifecycle, focusing on operational excellence and reliability. You will ensure that our ML/AI systems are served reliably in production, upholding stringent standards for availability, latency, and incident response. This will involve close collaboration with Data Scientists to refine model logic and iterate on agent performance, ensuring a smooth handover from development to deployment.
• • You will be responsible for constructing and maintaining the critical serving and integration layer for our ML/AI solutions. This includes developing robust APIs, efficient connectors, and asynchronous execution patterns that facilitate seamless integration with our internal systems and operational tooling. Your work will directly enable the smooth functioning of our AI-powered features across the platform.
• • Establishing clear, actionable mechanisms for monitoring and ensuring the reliability of ML/AI systems in production is a key aspect of this role. You will build and maintain comprehensive dashboards, set up effective alerts, define and track core KPIs, and implement systems for detecting model regressions and ensuring data/feature quality. This proactive approach to monitoring will be crucial for maintaining system integrity and performance.
• • Furthermore, you will champion and implement repeatable delivery processes for ML/AI services. This involves leveraging strong engineering practices such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), rigorous testing methodologies, sophisticated release strategies, and effective rollback procedures. You will also contribute to our Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) repository, evaluating and proposing platform upgrades for ML/AI systems, including feature serving patterns, workflow orchestration, and scalable storage solutions, to enhance reliability, scalability, and reusability across the organization.
• • We are particularly interested in candidates with a proven track record in building and scaling AI Agentic systems. This includes practical experience with components like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex, and the implementation of robust guardrails. You will need to understand the unique operational challenges associated with Large Language Models (LLMs), including managing token costs, versioning prompts, and optimizing latency. Experience with graph-based architectures or graph databases for complex data relationship mapping will also be highly valued.

You must be able to translate complex technical challenges into clear business implications for non-technical stakeholders. Your ability to adapt your communication style to effectively mentor Data Scientists on engineering best practices while collaborating with Product Managers on roadmap feasibility will be key to your success.
