• • Machine Learning Engineer role focused on building, improving, and operating production ML systems for Pegasus, Twelve Labs' Video Analysis product, with emphasis on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include working across the ML stack—deployment, inference, evaluation, monitoring, and supporting infrastructure—developing systems for serving Video Language Models (VLMs) and handling multimodal data and metadata at production quality, making strong technical decisions, and adopting AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.
• • The Pegasus team is core to TwelveLabs' video understanding capabilities, working in a goal-oriented, cross-functional environment that includes ML researchers and engineers, with access to advanced hardware like NVIDIA B300s to accelerate research-to-production cycles.
• • In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with large-scale distributed training of multimodal LLMs, temporal segmentation, structured metadata extraction, extending temporal context to multiple hours, and data curation for performance improvement, while contributing to real-world video AI products backed by top-tier investors and partners like NVIDIA and AWS.
