- • Machine Learning Engineering Intern at Marianaminerals LLC, a software-first, vertically integrated minerals company focused on supplying critical minerals for energy, AI, and defense technologies through advanced software and data-driven decision-making.
- • Work on a defined ML project with clear deliverables by the end of the internship, building and experimenting with models using Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar tools to analyze real-world datasets for patterns, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
- • Join an applied ML and operations team where you will collaborate with engineers and domain experts to understand complex industrial systems and apply ML techniques to improve performance, efficiency, and reliability in production-like environments.
- • Gain hands-on experience in developing data pipelines, feature engineering, model evaluation, running experiments, validating results, iterating based on findings, and documenting and presenting outcomes at the end of the internship.
🎯 Requirements
- • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- • Strong fundamentals in machine learning, statistics, and/or data analysis.
- • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar tools.
- • Hands-on experience through projects, coursework, or prior internships.
- • Ability to break down problems and execute independently with clear communication skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
