- • The Major Incident Manager at Availity is responsible for driving the resolution of critical IT incidents that significantly impact business operations, services, or systems, serving as the central point of coordination to ensure timely and effective restoration while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and coordinating major incident response across technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders; managing communication with internal teams, senior leadership, and external parties; conducting initial root cause analysis and preparing post-incident reviews; driving process improvements in incident management; engaging stakeholders with status updates; documenting all incident actions and producing reports; and ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
