• • As a Management Accountant at Immersive Labs, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and establishing a robust financial foundation for our rapidly scaling organization. You will be instrumental in ensuring the consistent and accurate reporting of financial data, particularly during the critical month-end close process. This position offers a unique opportunity to own key financial processes, manage balance sheet reconciliations, and contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of our finance systems and workflows.
• • You will be responsible for owning the entire month-end cycle for crucial areas including Fixed Assets, Capital Expenditures (Capex), Accruals, and Prepayments. This ownership extends beyond mere execution; you will be expected to proactively identify manual touchpoints within these processes and design and implement automated workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve driving the audit process for your designated areas. This includes preparing and providing timely, accurate evidence to external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit experience.
• • You will actively support and contribute to the ongoing iterations and enhancements of our finance systems, such as NetSuite and Jellyfish. Your input will be vital in reducing the time-to-close for financial reporting and improving the granularity and depth of our financial data.
• • A key responsibility will be managing the R&D and Capex processes specifically for our software development initiatives. This involves ensuring strict compliance with financial regulations while accurately capturing and reporting the true value of our product investments.
• • You will act as a crucial bridge between the Management Accounting function and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), providing actionable insights into spend trends and variances to support strategic decision-making.
• • Furthermore, you will mentor and guide junior staff members within the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. Your guidance will be essential in ensuring high data quality at the source of financial transactions and will involve close collaboration with the Finance Systems team on the evolution of our Chart of Accounts (COA).
