Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • • Juniper Square is on a mission to democratize private markets, making assets like commercial real estate, private equity, and venture capital more accessible through technology. We are building a company that fosters efficiency, transparency, and broad access within these crucial financial ecosystems. If you are passionate about leveraging technology to improve financial markets and thrive in a values-driven organization, we encourage you to apply.
  • • We embrace a digital-first operational model, enabling effective collaboration across a global team spanning the U.S., Canada, India, Luxembourg, and England. While we offer a fully remote experience, we also maintain physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai, and Bangalore for those who prefer an in-office setting.
  • • As a Manager, Fund Administration (Investor Services), you will play a pivotal role in leading one of our dedicated Investor Services teams. This is a hands-on operational position where you will be instrumental in managing the entire investor lifecycle. Your responsibilities will encompass all stages, from the initial onboarding of investors and ensuring compliance, through to treasury operations and ongoing investor communications.
  • • You will serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for all client inquiries, issues, and requests. Your core focus will be on delivering timely, practical, and client-centric resolutions that not only address immediate concerns but also strengthen and maintain robust client relationships. This involves proactively managing client expectations through clear, consistent, and transparent communication.
  • • A key aspect of this role is the leadership and development of your team. You will be responsible for mentoring team members, fostering their professional growth, and instilling a culture of service excellence and accountability. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of leading client-facing teams and demonstrating sound judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic operational environment.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing the operational efficiency of the Investor Services team, ensuring the smooth execution of all investor lifecycle processes. This includes managing onboarding procedures, verifying compliance requirements, overseeing treasury functions, maintaining accurate account information, and facilitating effective communication with Limited Partners (LPs).
  • • You will be the go-to person for resolving complex client issues, requiring you to exercise excellent judgment in assessing situations, developing effective solutions, and clearly articulating the trade-offs associated with proposed alternatives to stakeholders.
  • • Proactive identification of opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation will be a continuous effort. You will consistently apply sound judgment to anticipate potential challenges and implement strategies to prevent them, thereby enhancing the overall service delivery.
  • • Leading, mentoring, and developing your team is paramount. You will foster an environment that emphasizes accountability, a commitment to client service excellence, and a drive for continuous improvement. This includes setting clear performance expectations and providing the support necessary for your team to succeed.
  • • You will be responsible for driving team performance and ensuring accountability by actively managing and reporting on critical Service Level Agreements (SLAs). These SLAs will cover the full spectrum of investor services, from the speed and quality of inquiry responses to the accuracy and efficiency of transaction processing.
  • • This role requires a deep understanding of the private markets landscape and the unique needs of investors within this sector. You will be expected to navigate complex financial operations and regulatory requirements with precision and care.
  • • By effectively managing the investor lifecycle and leading your team, you will directly contribute to Juniper Square's mission of enhancing transparency and access in private markets, solidifying our reputation as a trusted partner for investors and fund managers alike.
  • • You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and technology, to ensure seamless operations and to advocate for client needs within the organization. Your insights will be invaluable in shaping the future of our investor services offerings.
