- • The Manager - Legacy Engagement & Stewardship (Development) plays a vital role in cultivating and caring for InterVarsity’s legacy ministry partners, ensuring they are known, valued, and meaningfully connected to the ongoing impact of their generosity through thoughtful relationship stewardship and strong project management.
- • Day to day, the person will execute stewardship plans, coordinate communications and touchpoints, design engagement strategies, manage project timelines and workflows, draft compelling narratives about ministry impact, and collaborate with gift officers and communications teams to ensure consistency and pastoral sensitivity.
- • The role sits within the Development team at InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA, working closely with the Director of Strategic Donor Engagement and the Estate and Planned Giving team to advance the organization’s mission through faithful stewardship of legacy gifts.
- • In this role, the individual can deepen expertise in legacy giving, refine storytelling and communication skills, build scalable stewardship systems, and grow in project management and cross-functional collaboration while contributing to meaningful ministry impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field required
- • 3–5 years of experience in development, communications, project management, or related field
- • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate impact clearly and compellingly
- • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- • Relational intelligence and attentiveness to ministry partner care; able to operate with discretion and pastoral sensitivity
- • Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Faith
