Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • As Manager of Medical Economics at Chamber Cardio, Inc., you will own the analytical function that determines whether the company’s care model is improving patient outcomes and reducing costs, serving as the primary thought leader on health economics for senior leadership, payers, and partners.
  • • You will build and maintain the infrastructure to measure critical metrics such as Total Cost of Care (TCOC), avoidable inpatient utilization (APK), utilization trends, medication adherence, and other financial and clinical indicators that determine value-based contract performance.
  • • You will lead primary analysis across cost trends, utilization impact, clinical effectiveness, and economic and operational efficiency, connecting data to outcomes in clear, credible, and compelling ways for stakeholders.
  • • You will scale the Health Economics team and analytical platform as Chamber’s contract portfolio grows, building systems, processes, and people to support expanding analytical needs.
  • • You will partner directly with senior executives as a key analytical stakeholder, providing the evidence base that informs strategic decisions and translating complex data into defensible narratives.
  • • In your first 90 days, you will conduct a full audit of the current health economics data landscape, deliver initial cohort efficacy reporting on Transitions of Care and Medication Adherence, complete an initial Medication Therapy analysis, and present a structured performance review to senior leadership.
  • • You will work with ambiguous data and incomplete inputs, turning them into defensible, actionable outputs using SQL, AI prompting, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • • You will embody Chamber’s values of low ego, empathy, courage, ownership, and grit while driving innovation in cardiovascular care through data-driven insights.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4–8 years of experience in health economics.
  • • Fluency with value-based care performance metrics including TCOC, avoidable inpatient utilization (APK), utilization benchmarks, quality measures, and economic efficiency indicators.
  • • Demonstrated ability to own analytical work end-to-end — from hypothesis formation and analysis design to communication of findings.
  • • High tolerance for ambiguity — ability to work with messy data and unclear briefs to produce clear, defensible, and useful outputs.
  • • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint, with comfort using AI prompting tools as part of your analytical workflow.
  • • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present complex health economics findings to senior executives.
  • • Bachelor’s degree in health economics, public health, biostatistics, or a related field.
  • • Genuine passion for improving outcomes for cardiology patients and the independent physicians who care for them.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Hybrid work model based in Nashville or remote.
  • • Opportunity to serve as Chamber’s primary thought leader on health economics with direct executive exposure.
  • • Role in scaling the Health Economics team and analytical platform as the company grows.
  • • Chance to build infrastructure that measures the impact of value-based care models on patient outcomes and costs.
  • • Work at a mission-driven company transforming heart health through innovation, empathy, and cutting-edge AI tools.
  • • Collaborative culture grounded in Chamber’s values: low ego, empathy, courage, ownership, and grit.
  • • Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership, payers, and partners.
