• • As the Manager of Compliance Testing and Assurance (CTA) at Coinbase, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the integrity and effectiveness of our global compliance framework. This hybrid role, based in Luxembourg, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly evolving financial technology landscape, ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of regulatory adherence and risk management.
• • You will be instrumental in supporting the CTA Senior Manager in the comprehensive development, meticulous management, rigorous execution, and continuous improvement of the CTA program. Your primary focus will be on the intricate processes and controls governing our international entities, while also contributing to the oversight of enterprise-wide processes and controls that span both US and international operations.
• • A key responsibility will be to assist in the design, implementation, and enhancement of robust, enterprise-wide CTA Program methodologies and governance documents. This involves contributing to the strategic direction and operational framework of our compliance assurance activities.
• • You will actively participate in the development of a risk-based annual CTA plan. This collaborative effort will involve working closely with Compliance staff across various specialized teams, including International, Institutional, Product, Tools, and BSA/AML, ensuring a holistic and targeted approach to compliance testing.
• • Your contributions will extend to the creation of insightful periodic reports. These reports will detail the progress of the annual CTA plan, present the findings and results of testing activities, and outline the status of remediation plans, providing critical visibility to stakeholders.
• • You will be responsible for performing and managing assigned CTA activities throughout their entire lifecycle: planning, execution, reporting, and issue remediation. This includes identifying potential issues, conducting thorough analysis, and escalating concerns as necessary to ensure timely and effective resolution.
• • A significant part of your role will involve preparing clear and concise reports on the outcomes of CTA activities. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to facilitate root cause analysis for identified issues and to develop actionable remediation plans.
• • You will maintain a centralized repository of issues and remediation-related information and documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and audit readiness.
• • You will diligently track and validate the implementation of remediation plans submitted by issue owners. This crucial step ensures that all identified issues are addressed effectively and that control weaknesses are rectified.
• • You will contribute to the development and delivery of training and/or awareness materials as needed, educating relevant teams on the CTA Program and its importance.
• • A forward-thinking approach is essential; you will stay current on regulatory developments and industry events. This proactive stance will enable you to identify emerging trends and risks that could impact Coinbase's products and the CTA Program, allowing for timely adaptation and mitigation.
• • You will undertake other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the broader goals of the Compliance department.
