- • Worldwide Clinical Trials, a leading global Contract Research Organization (CRO), is seeking a strategic and experienced Manager, Payroll Accounting to oversee and direct global payroll accounting operations across approximately 40 countries. This pivotal role is instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of payroll processes worldwide, contributing directly to the financial integrity and operational excellence of our organization.
- • As a Manager, Payroll Accounting, you will be at the forefront of shaping our global payroll accounting strategy. You will foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with senior internal stakeholders, including HR, Total Rewards, Legal, Treasury, Finance, and IT departments, both at the corporate and country levels. Your ability to build bridges and work cross-functionally will be key to success in this role.
- • A core responsibility will be to support the implementation and ongoing management of new and existing pay programs, encompassing both local and global initiatives. This involves driving process standardization, identifying opportunities for automation, and enhancing internal controls within payroll accounting on a global scale. Your focus will be on ensuring both efficiency and effectiveness in all payroll accounting functions.
- • You will own the governance framework for global payroll accounting, establishing best practices and ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and procedures. This includes providing expert guidance, coaching, and mentorship to your team, fostering their professional development and optimizing operational excellence.
- • Key responsibilities include driving the adoption of consistent and appropriate processes across all global regions, coordinating regional efforts to achieve global accounting process standardization while maintaining necessary local flexibility. You will be tasked with maximizing the effectiveness of payroll technologies and supporting processes, spearheading continuous improvement and change initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- • You will maintain oversight of global payroll accounting to guarantee full compliance with all corporate and country-specific policies, regulations, and procedures. This requires a deep understanding of diverse international payroll landscapes and a proactive approach to risk management.
- • Establishing and nurturing partnerships with internal services and external third-party vendors will be crucial for ensuring effective service delivery and seamless integration of payroll operations. You will also be responsible for building strong partnerships and actively soliciting feedback from internal and external business partners to define, develop, and implement successful, scalable accounting processes and practices that align with the company's growth objectives.
