  • • As the Manager, Post-Sales Solution Architecture at Sanity, Inc., you will be instrumental in transforming successful sales engagements into enduring, value-driven customer relationships.   • • This role is pivotal in shaping how we earn and maintain long-term trust with the developer and content teams we serve, directly impacting our growth trajectory and customer loyalty.
  • • You will lead a dedicated post-sales Solution Architect (SA) team, empowering them to guide enterprise customers in realizing profound and lasting value from Sanity's innovative AI Content Operating System. Your primary focus will be on tangible outcomes: driving successful renewals, facilitating expansion into new use cases and business units, and ensuring implementations are robust and scalable as our customers grow.
  • • Strategically, you will define the team's direction, while also taking personal ownership of the most complex and high-stakes accounts. This involves overseeing critical implementations, cultivating strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, and expertly navigating challenging situations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • • You will coach your Solution Architects on best practices for conducting value-oriented engagements. This includes honing their skills in active listening to truly understand customer needs, proactively identifying and mitigating risks before they escalate, and clearly mapping out a path to success with Sanity positioned at the core of their strategy.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will be to recruit, develop, and retain a high-caliber SA team. This team must possess the technical credibility to engage effectively with developers, architects, product leaders, and content strategists.   • • You will play a key role in evolving our core post-sales processes, including onboarding, implementation reviews, expansion discovery, and health monitoring. The goal is to accelerate the customer journey from signed contract to demonstrable success.
  • • A critical component of this role involves translating Sanity's advanced capabilities into tangible business outcomes for our customers. You will articulate how structured content, flexible workflows, and the modern content stack empower faster digital product shipping, enhance editorial experiences, and enable scalable business growth.
  • • This position is inherently cross-functional. You will collaborate closely with the Sales team to identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities, and partner with Product and R&D teams to ensure that valuable customer feedback directly influences roadmap priorities and product development.
  • • You will be responsible for ensuring that customers leverage Sanity to its fullest potential, moving beyond basic implementation to embedding it as a strategic asset that drives significant business value and competitive advantage.
  • • Your team's success will be measured by customer satisfaction, retention rates, expansion revenue, and the overall health and growth of the customer base.
  • • You will champion the adoption of AI technologies and tooling within customer implementations, focusing on how these can accelerate their specific business outcomes and operational efficiencies.
  • • By understanding the intricate needs of enterprise clients, you will guide your team in architecting solutions that are not only technically sound but also strategically aligned with long-term business objectives, ensuring Sanity becomes an indispensable part of their digital ecosystem.
  • • This role demands a leader who can inspire technical teams, manage complex projects, and build trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders, ultimately driving mutual success and long-term partnership.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience leading technical individual contributors in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, ideally with developer-facing or platform products.
  • • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to comfortably discuss APIs, data modeling, front-end frameworks, integrations, and how Sanity integrates into a modern technology stack (e.g., hosting providers, e-commerce platforms, web/app frameworks, analytics tools).
  • • Demonstrated track record of driving customer retention and expansion through effective coaching, strategic process design, and hands-on account ownership.
  • • Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks, as well as capitalizing on opportunities across the team's customer portfolio.
  • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with both internal teams and external customer stakeholders at various levels.
  • • Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and maintain a sharp focus on delivering customer value.
  • • Familiarity with AI technologies and tooling, with a clear understanding of how they can accelerate business outcomes.
  • • Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecture or other technical customer-facing roles.
  • • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing customer-facing, technical teams.
