Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the weekly ratings narrative for Star Maa by dissecting BARC data and translating numbers into stories that drive programming decisions. You will prepare concise yet comprehensive performance reports that pinpoint exactly why a primetime fiction show surged or dipped, then present these findings to the channel’s leadership within 24 hours of data release.
- • Act as the early-warning radar for competitive threats. Every week you will map rival channels’ schedules, promo bursts, and special events against our own, quantifying the impact on our GRP share and flagging any slot where we are vulnerable. Your insights will directly influence counter-scheduling moves and promo weight adjustments.
- • Build and maintain the rolling 52-week GRP forecast that underpins the Annual Operating Plan. You will layer universe-estimate revisions, seasonal trends, and tent-pole event calendars into a living model that the finance and ad-sales teams treat as gospel, updating assumptions as fresh data arrives.
- • Partner with the Social Listening squad to fuse sentiment heat-maps with hard ratings, revealing whether a spike in Twitter outrage is translating into tune-in or tune-out. These blended insights will shape everything from story-track tweaks to talent PR responses.
- • Champion cross-platform intelligence by correlating linear TV performance with JioHotstar viewership and YouTube clip traction. You will quantify cannibalization versus amplification, then recommend optimal catch-up windows and digital-first spin-offs that grow total time spent with Star Maa IP.
- • Investigate and resolve data anomalies with the BARC help-desk, ensuring that our weekly decks reflect reality, not glitches. Your reputation for forensic rigor will make you the go-to person when programming heads smell something off in the numbers.
- • Translate complex analytics into crisp creative briefs for marketing and promo teams. You will define target audience micro-segments, tone pillars, and call-to-action metrics so that every 20-second promo is engineered to move the needle you have already forecast.
- • Curate a living knowledge base of emerging content formats—short-form vertical dramas, interactive game shows, AI-curated highlight reels—and model their potential impact on Telugu GRPs. Your quarterly “Next Big Thing” deck will keep Star Maa two steps ahead of regional rivals.
- • Orchestrate scenario-planning war-games before major festivals or sports events. You will simulate five different competitive responses to our blockbuster movie premieres, assigning probability scores and revenue impacts so leadership can green-light bold stunts with confidence.
- • Mentor junior analysts in the art of storytelling with data, running weekly clinics on Excel wizardry, PowerPoint narrative flow, and the psychology of color-coding. Your team’s decks will become the gold standard across the JioStar network.
- • Present to the C-suite during monthly content review forums, defending forecasts, celebrating wins, and pivoting strategy in real time when the data demands it. Your ability to stay calm under executive cross-examination will turn insights into irrevocable action.
