- • Own the end-to-end publicity strategy for JioHotstar’s Hindi and International originals, translating marketing objectives into high-impact, clutter-breaking campaigns that cut through India’s crowded media landscape and drive measurable buzz across earned, owned and shared channels.
- • Co-create and flawlessly execute red-carpet premieres, press junkets, set visits, talent round-tables and experiential events that turn every original, exclusive and first-run title into a cultural moment—securing top-tier coverage in national dailies, entertainment portals, broadcast networks and social platforms.
- • Build and manage annual, quarterly and per-title publicity budgets that maximise reach and ROI while staying tightly aligned with the broader marketing P&L; present clear cost-benefit analyses and re-forecast spend in real time as priorities shift.
- • Serve as the in-house PR subject-matter expert, distilling complex narratives into crisp, on-brand messaging and advising senior stakeholders on risk mitigation, crisis response and reputation management across all touchpoints.
- • Cultivate and deepen relationships with editors, journalists, critics, influencers and trade bodies across print, digital, TV, radio and podcasting—leveraging these connections to secure exclusive stories, cover shoots, think-pieces and long-lead features that amplify JioHotstar’s thought-leadership.
- • Brief, steer and quality-control external PR agencies, ensuring creative excellence, timely delivery and strict adherence to brand voice; negotiate scopes of work, set KPIs and conduct quarterly business reviews to raise the bar continuously.
- • Translate data-driven insights from social listening, sentiment analysis and media monitoring into actionable recommendations that refine messaging, target new audiences and outmanoeuvre competitors.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with content, creative, performance marketing, legal and regional teams to synchronise publicity beats with trailer drops, paid media flights, platform merchandising and subscriber acquisition campaigns.
- • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion in every story angle, media list and event execution—ensuring that JioHotstar’s publicity reflects the rich spectrum of voices and identities that make up modern India.
- • Stay ahead of emerging platforms (short-form video, audio rooms, AR/VR activations) and evolving consumer behaviour to pilot innovative publicity formats that keep the brand culturally relevant and conversation-worthy.
- • Prepare executive briefing documents, talking points and Q&A sheets for C-suite spokespeople, talent and showrunners ahead of every media interaction, ensuring consistent, confident and compliant messaging.
- • Track and report campaign performance against agreed metrics—AVE, sentiment shift, share of voice, subscriber lift—delivering post-mortems that celebrate wins, surface learnings and feed directly into future planning cycles.
