- • As a Key Account Manager for Solventum's MedTech OEM division, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth and fostering strong relationships within the Southwest Territory. This role is pivotal in managing our existing key account base, which includes crucial converters and direct end-users, while simultaneously identifying and developing new customer opportunities to expand our market presence.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to achieve and exceed individual and team sales growth attainment goals. This involves developing and executing comprehensive business plans that are both strategic and tactical, ensuring they are targeted at surpassing sales objectives and supporting key performance metrics.
- • You will play a key role in global account development, collaborating with customers and peers across multiple countries. This international aspect requires strong communication and coordination skills to ensure alignment and drive consistent results across diverse markets.
- • Facilitating strategic and tactical customer meetings will be a core function, aimed at achieving both short-term milestones and long-term strategic goals. This requires meticulous planning, effective presentation, and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable business solutions.
- • You will act as a consultant to the leadership team, providing insights and recommendations for setting both short- and long-term goals and objectives for your assigned key accounts. Your advice will be crucial in shaping the overall growth strategy for the MedTech OEM business.
- • This role demands cross-functional team support. You will leverage St. Paul-based business and technical resources to effectively address customer needs, aiming to shorten product sales cycle times and accelerate closure.
- • Effective communication with other MedTech Account Managers is essential for sharing insights on "Design In" and manufacturing opportunities. This collaborative approach ensures that the full potential of Solventum's MedTech OEM Adhesive and Diagnostic portfolios is realized.
- • A deep understanding of the business process for "Specing-In / Designing-in" Solventum MedTech OEM products for end-user specifications is required. You will be responsible for recommending the appropriate manufacturing and/or converting partners to fabricate these solutions, thereby generating new business sales.
- • You will be tasked with implementing and promoting sales and marketing strategies, as well as providing valuable input to improve these strategies to enhance market share. This includes staying abreast of market dynamics and adapting approaches as needed.
- • Demonstrating proficiency in the sales process and account management tools is critical. You will need to showcase expertise in selling and management skills, ensuring consistent application of best practices.
- • Effective management and utilization of the Salesforce CRM platform are mandatory for tracking customer interactions, managing pipelines, and reporting on sales activities. This ensures data integrity and supports informed decision-making.
- • Proactively observing and reporting on all pertinent trends and changes within the marketplace is a key responsibility. This market intelligence will inform strategic adjustments and identify new opportunities.
- • You will be expected to assume additional assignments as requested by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute beyond the defined scope of the role.
- • This position requires the use of a personal vehicle for company business and participation in Solventum’s Fixed and Variable Reimbursement (FAVR) program. Candidates must successfully complete a pre-hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review and maintain ongoing eligibility, including compliance with Solventum’s driver policy and insurance requirements.
- • The role involves travel, potentially up to 25% domestically and internationally, to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support business development efforts.
- • You will be expected to comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards while performing all assigned duties, ensuring operational integrity and adherence to company guidelines.
