- • Lead product development initiatives by translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for software engineering teams.
- • Contribute to long-term architectural decisions, system reliability, and technical strategy for large-scale client applications and distributed systems.
- • Develop, maintain, and enhance web and software applications using React (including Class Components), JavaScript/TypeScript, Redux, C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server.
- • Implement and support authentication workflows using MSAL and Okta for secure application access.
- • Support and troubleshoot build, release, and deployment pipelines including YAML-based configurations, variable management, release triggers, and approval workflows.
- • Diagnose and resolve build and deployment failures across cloud environments, primarily Azure App Services, App Registrations, and File Storage.
- • Mentor and manage software developers and QA team members through code reviews, task guidance, and performance feedback.
- • Ensure technical quality, code stability, and high performance across all deployed applications and services.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to solve complex problems and deliver key projects on time.
- • Proactively identify technical risks and implement mitigations to ensure stable, scalable, and maintainable systems.
- • Manage multiple concurrent projects with emphasis on timely delivery, data integrity, and long-term maintainability in cloud-based environments.
- • Work within established codebases and architectures, prioritizing stability, reliability, and data integrity over rapid iteration.
- • Aggregate and work with massive datasets to inform system behavior, performance optimization, and reporting needs.
- • Ensure all software solutions comply with organizational standards for security, scalability, and operational excellence.
- • Participate in cross-departmental planning to align engineering efforts with business objectives and client needs.
- • Maintain expertise in Comscore’s offerings and research methodologies to effectively guide technical direction.
- • Drive continuous improvement in software development practices, including deployment automation, testing protocols, and technical documentation.
- • Apply leadership and strategic vision to elevate team performance and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and servant leadership.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years of systems development experience
- • 3-5 years’ experience with Comscore offerings and research methods
- • 1-2 years’ experience supervising and/or mentoring software developers or QA team members
- • Strong expertise in React (including Class Components) and Redux
- • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core APIs, and SQL Server 2016+
- • Experience with Azure App Services, App Registrations, and File Storage

- • Salary range of $153,000-$165,000 commensurate with experience
