- • The Manager, Software Engineering - Developer Productivity leads a team focused on improving how engineers build, test, and deliver software across Genesys, creating scalable tooling, automation, and development workflows that reduce friction, increase velocity, and improve software quality.
- • Day to day, the role involves designing and delivering internal developer platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and reusable tooling; standardizing development environments using GitHub and CI/CD automation; improving developer onboarding and productivity through self-service capabilities and documentation; implementing automation across the software development lifecycle; integrating AI-assisted development tools; establishing and monitoring quality metrics; leading, mentoring, and growing a team of engineers; partnering with platform, security, and application teams to align tooling with enterprise standards; and driving adoption of developer productivity tools through feedback and iteration.

🎯 Requirements
- • Experience leading engineering teams focused on developer productivity, DevOps, or platform engineering
- • Strong experience with CI/CD systems, version control (e.g., GitHub), and automated testing frameworks
- • Experience improving software delivery performance using metrics such as deployment frequency, lead time, and change failure rate
- • Familiarity with cloud-native development environments and infrastructure (e.g., AWS or similar)
- • Ability to drive cross-team adoption of tools and standards through influence and collaboration
- • Experience integrating AI-powered developer tools (e.g., code assistants, automation tools) into engineering workflows
- • Familiarity with observability and testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Honeycomb, or similar)
- • Experience in large-scale SaaS or distributed engineering organizations
- • 8-10 years of relevant experience
