• • The Manager, Treasury Operations, EMEA is a pivotal role within Kraken's finance organization, offering significant visibility and requiring dynamic collaboration across various departments. This position is instrumental in facilitating the firm’s liquidity, cash management, and overall treasury operations needs for the EMEA region. The successful candidate will leverage experienced management skills and a data-driven approach to lead a team and drive operational excellence.
• • **Key Responsibilities:**
• • Lead and manage a team of 3-5 Treasury Analysts, fostering their professional development and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results for the Treasury Organization and broader Kraken stakeholders.
• • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and insightful interpretation of complex financial data, including cash flows, loan portfolios, interest earnings, target balancing, and custom treasury forecasting models.
• • Utilize Kraken's Treasury Management System (TMS), internal payment gateways, and relationships with banking partners to execute high-value payments efficiently and securely, supporting treasury rebalancing and other critical operational requirements.
• • Collaborate closely with treasury and OTC trading analysts to facilitate the execution of cryptocurrency trades and fiat foreign exchange transactions, serving both customer needs and internal hedging strategies.
• • Manage and optimize treasury operations tools and processes across multiple global banking partners, including the implementation and oversight of cash pooling, legal entity cash concentration, and various payment portals.
• • Act as a key partner to Kraken’s global OTC trading team, ensuring the provision of robust, reliable, and 24/7 global settlement services that deliver an extraordinary client experience.
• • Champion a collaborative approach to continuous process improvement, implementing rigorous data verification, quality assurance, and accuracy checks to maintain the integrity of treasury operations.
• • Conduct in-depth analysis and deploy advanced liquidity management tools to optimize internal ledger and bank account balances across Kraken's global legal entity structure, ensuring efficient capital allocation.
• • **Weekend work is a requirement for this role, typically 1-3 times per month, to ensure continuous operational coverage.**
• • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to evolving business needs.
