📋 Description

• • Lead end-to-end SAP HANA projects for global enterprise clients, owning the full lifecycle from initial scoping workshops through go-live and hyper-care. You will orchestrate complex multi-tenant installations, zero-downtime upgrades, cross-platform migrations, performance tuning, and scale-out expansions that directly influence the speed and reliability of mission-critical ERP, BW/4HANA, and S/4HANA environments.
• • Architect and enforce gold-standard operating concepts that keep our 500+ node SAP HANA landscape running at 99.9 % availability. This includes designing automated backup & recovery strategies, high-availability clustering, disaster-recovery playbooks, and proactive monitoring dashboards that surface anomalies before they become incidents.
• • Serve as the go-to SAP HANA authority for both customers and internal squads, translating deep technical knowledge into board-level recommendations. Whether the landscape sits on-prem in our ISO-certified datacentres or spans Azure, GCP, or AWS, you will craft cloud-native blueprints that balance cost, performance, and compliance requirements.
• • Continuously optimize database footprints by conducting workload analyses, memory sizing reviews, and SQL plan stabilisation. Your tuning efforts routinely shave seconds off query runtimes and free terabytes of expensive in-memory storage, directly lowering TCO and unlocking budget for innovation projects.
• • Mentor a distributed team of senior DBAs and junior consultants, running weekly architecture clinics and code-review sessions that upskill the entire practice. You will define reusable automation scripts, Terraform modules, and Ansible playbooks that cut deployment times by 40 % and eliminate human error.
• • Drive strategic pre-sales initiatives: scope RFP responses, deliver executive briefings, and build proof-of-concept environments that showcase the art of the possible. Your technical storytelling converts sceptical stakeholders into long-term partners and expands Nagarro’s SAP HANA footprint across EMEA and North America.
• • Own the security posture of every HANA instance, implementing encryption at rest and in transit, fine-grained authorisation models, and GDPR-compliant data-masking routines. You will liaise with CISO teams to pass SOC 2, ISO 27001, and customer-specific audits without friction.
• • Establish KPI-driven service-level agreements that align database performance with business outcomes—think sub-second Fiori launchpad load times and overnight batch jobs that finish before sunrise. You will present monthly health reports that translate technical metrics into CFO-friendly ROI narratives.
• • Champion a DevOps culture by integrating SAP HANA into CI/CD pipelines, containerising side-car scenarios, and leveraging Kyma or Gardener for elastic scaling. Your innovations shorten release cycles from weeks to hours and enable true continuous delivery for ABAP and HANA XS artefacts.
• • Stay ahead of the curve: evaluate early-access releases, pilot SAP HANA Cloud, and feed product feedback directly to SAP’s product engineering teams. You will publish thought-leadership blogs, speak at DSAG and SAP TechEd, and position Nagarro as the definitive voice in next-generation data platforms.
