- • As the Market Owner for Manual Therapy at Jane Technologies, Inc., you will step into a pivotal role, acting as the internal General Manager for one of our largest and most critical customer segments. This position is designed for a seasoned professional, open to a Senior Manager or Director level, who possesses a deep understanding of the manual therapy landscape and a passion for driving customer success through strategic ownership and cross-functional collaboration.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to champion the manual therapy market end-to-end. This involves meticulously setting annual goals tied to key market performance indicators, relentlessly tracking progress against these objectives, and proactively adjusting strategies and tactics to ensure optimal outcomes. You will be the ultimate owner of the market's success, connecting the dots between immediate customer needs, short-term marketing initiatives, and long-term product development.
- • A core facet of this role is cultivating profound market and customer understanding. You will be expected to develop and maintain a sophisticated, research-backed perspective on the unique needs, workflows, competitive pressures, and growth opportunities within the manual therapy sector. This deep insight will go beyond what any single department can achieve independently, providing a holistic view that informs Jane's overall strategy.
- • You will be instrumental in shaping and executing the go-to-market strategy for the manual therapy segment. This requires close partnership with the Marketing team to define how Jane effectively engages with and is perceived within this market. Simultaneously, you will collaborate with the Customer team to translate this overarching strategy into tangible, on-the-ground execution that resonates with practitioners.
- • Acting as the internal voice of the market, you will represent the interests and perspectives of manual therapy practitioners across Jane's Product, Marketing, and Customer teams. Your role will be to articulate a clear, evidence-based point of view on product-market fit and to advocate for roadmap priorities that will demonstrably improve the experience and business outcomes for these customers.
- • This role demands a strategic mindset that balances objectives across three distinct time horizons. You will align with the Customer team on immediate operational needs and support requirements, inform Marketing programs with a focus on now, 3-month, and 6-month outlooks, and contribute significantly to shaping longer-term Product priorities that will shape the future of Jane's offerings for this segment.
- • You will be tasked with identifying and surfacing emerging opportunities and innovative hypotheses within the manual therapy space. This includes exploring potential partnerships, recognizing unmet customer needs, and uncovering new avenues for growth, then actively contributing to the pursuit of these initiatives.
- • Furthermore, you will serve as a key external representative for Jane within the manual therapy community. This involves attending significant industry events, conferences, and community gatherings to build trust, foster deeper relationships, and solidify Jane's reputation and market position.
- • Success in this role hinges on your ability to manage metrics, develop and execute go-to-market plans, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and navigate complex cross-functional dynamics. Your comfort with ambiguity and a strong bias for action will be crucial as you operate in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a deep familiarity with the manual therapy or allied health landscape, understanding the operational realities, growth drivers, and daily challenges faced by practitioners in fields such as physical therapy, massage therapy, and chiropractic care. This domain expertise is critical for effectively advocating for and strategizing on behalf of this vital customer segment.
