Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Drive strategic growth for Navient, the nation’s leading education-finance technology company, by turning billions of data points into clear, confident decisions that help students and families manage the cost of higher education. As our Marketing Analyst II you will sit at the intersection of finance, marketing, and data science, owning the measurement engine that fuels every dollar we invest in paid search, paid social, partner affiliate, and direct-mail campaigns.
- • Own end-to-end performance intelligence: extract and harmonize data from our internal warehouse, site-analytics platforms, and third-party ad systems; transform raw numbers into executive-ready insights that guide budget allocation, creative rotation, and audience targeting across all growth channels.
- • Build and maintain self-serve dashboards in Looker, Power BI, and Amplitude that surface real-time KPIs—response rates, ROI, CAC, LTV, incrementality—so stakeholders from C-suite to channel managers can instantly see what is working and what needs to pivot.
- • Serve as the single source of truth for campaign attribution by defining and governing UTM taxonomies, validating pixel and event instrumentation in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Braze, and Marketo, and ensuring every impression, click, and conversion is privacy-compliant and accurately captured.
- • Design statistically rigorous A/B and multivariate tests that isolate the true impact of creative, offer, and audience variables; translate test read-outs into prescriptive next steps that improve conversion rates and reduce acquisition costs.
- • Partner with Data Engineering to automate repetitive reporting tasks—audience generation, cohort tracking, funnel analysis—freeing the team to focus on insight generation rather than spreadsheet wrangling.
- • Collaborate daily with Marketing, Product, and Sales leaders to frame business questions, scope analytical approaches, and deliver actionable recommendations that accelerate revenue growth and customer lifetime value.
- • Translate complex statistical findings into concise, visually compelling narratives for non-technical audiences; present findings in weekly stand-ups, monthly business reviews, and quarterly board updates.
- • Monitor industry and regulatory trends—privacy legislation, platform policy changes, emerging ad-tech—to proactively adjust tracking methodologies and safeguard data integrity.
- • Continuously refine predictive models that forecast channel-level performance, enabling proactive re-allocation of spend before market conditions shift.
- • Champion a culture of experimentation and data literacy across the marketing organization by hosting training sessions, publishing best-practice guides, and mentoring junior analysts.
- • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives such as customer segmentation, product-launch planning, and pricing optimization, ensuring that marketing insights inform every strategic lever.
- • Maintain meticulous documentation of data definitions, model assumptions, and analytical workflows to ensure reproducibility and compliance with internal audit and external regulatory standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- • 3+ years of experience in a data-centric role (product analytics, BI, consulting, financial modeling, etc.) with at least 2 years focused on marketing analytics
- • 2+ years of hands-on experience using SQL plus either R or Python for statistical analysis in a production environment
- • Demonstrated expertise with ad-platform data and event management (Google Ads, Meta) and proficiency with Google Tag Manager
🏖️ Benefits
- • 100 % remote-first work environment with flexible scheduling and no commute
- • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage starting day one
- • 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting, plus employee stock-purchase plan
- • Generous paid time off, volunteer days, and tuition reimbursement to support lifelong learning
