- • As the Marketplace Lead for Germany, you will be entrusted with the overarching performance of our German marketplace, encompassing both our 'Get Your Car' (car purchasing) and 'Sell My Car' (car selling) segments. Your core responsibility will be to holistically manage supply and demand, define strategic priorities, and ensure sustainable growth through data-driven decision-making.
- • You will collaborate closely with various departments, including Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and Product, operating both locally and globally. Crucially, you will lead and mentor the Marketplace team in Germany, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
- • Your key responsibilities will include defining the central Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for both 'Get Your Car' and 'Sell My Car' to meticulously track performance and derive clear priorities and actionable measures from observed trends.
- • You will conduct rigorous weekly performance reviews, structure decision-making processes, and ensure the consistent implementation of agreed-upon actions to drive continuous improvement.
- • A significant part of your role will involve owning the budget planning and forecasting for the German marketplace, proactively identifying key growth levers such as pricing strategies, conversion rate optimization, demand generation focus, and the strategic structuring of our dealer network.
- • You will strategically align marketing, CRM, and sales activities with the dynamic needs of the marketplace, defining clear focus segments to maximize impact and efficiency.
- • Developing and refining the Tier-1 acquisition strategy will be paramount, working hand-in-hand with our sales teams to optimize the performance and engagement of our dealer base.
- • As the Business Owner for our German marketplace data, you will establish robust reporting standards and champion the highest levels of data quality to ensure reliable insights for strategic planning.
- • You will play a vital role in prioritizing relevant product requirements, collaborating closely with the Analytics team and other global stakeholders, underscoring the necessity for excellent English communication skills alongside German fluency.
- • As a leader, you will serve as a role model, guiding and developing the Marketplace team, ensuring clear responsibilities, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
