📋 Description

• As an MD, you will lead the strategy and vision for evaluating generative AI in clinical and medical education solutions, ensuring AI systems meet the highest standards of medical accuracy, safety, and educational value.
• Day to day, you will co-develop evaluation roadmaps with product teams, lead complex projects assessing AI model performance in clinical use cases, drive innovation in medical knowledge representation, and mentor team members in clinical AI evaluation methodologies.
• You will join Elsevier’s generative AI Evaluation team, which is dedicated to improving clinical outcomes through evidence-based methods and ensuring AI solutions are reliable, compliant, and aligned with healthcare education needs.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in AI evaluation frameworks, influence industry standards for clinical AI, and advance healthcare outcomes by shaping how generative AI is validated and enriched for medical use.

🎯 Requirements

• MD required, with 10+ years of clinical experience and expertise in medical informatics
• Demonstrated experience in evaluating AI systems for clinical applications
• Proven experience leading large expert teams using project management and agile methodologies
• Expert-level understanding of clinical knowledge systems and medical content validation
• Track record of developing evaluation frameworks for AI in healthcare
• Excellence in communicating complex medical and technical concepts to varied stakeholders

🏖️ Benefits

• U.S. National Base Pay Range: $95,300 - $158,800, with geographic differentials (e.g., $107,646 - $171,954 in New Jersey)
