- • Support Client Managers and Client Directors in the Great Lakes region by proactively monitoring renewal business, generating timely price quotes, validating service contracts, and managing the renewable pipeline using Salesforce.com.
- • Provide responsive and accurate client service via available tools, addressing inquiries from internal teams and external clients and partners promptly.
- • Coordinate with Client Managers, Client Directors, and clients to identify and explore upsell opportunities including increased service levels, authorized support, multi-year contracts, technology refreshes (EOL/EOS), and co-term contracts aligned with partner technologies.
- • Make strategic pricing recommendations using internal pricing tools to maximize Optiv’s gross profit margins while maintaining competitive positioning.
- • Collaborate with client management teams to negotiate discounts with vendors and distributors and develop strategies that enhance client value while protecting margins.
- • Prepare and submit accurate purchase orders for maintenance contracts and related services.
- • Deliver system-generated reports to Client Managers, Client Directors, operations, and management as requested, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
- • Serve as the primary liaison between Client Managers/Client Directors and internal Optiv business units including finance, legal, and procurement.
- • Facilitate the completion of client-requested documentation such as RFPs, supplier forms, and other nonstandard requests.
- • Maintain account health through diligent data integrity practices, including credit standing, contract validity, and asset tracking.
- • Proactively follow up with clients, manufacturers, distributors, and internal stakeholders to advance the renewal sales cycle and ensure seamless contract transitions.
- • Participate in corporate compliance trainings, system improvements, user-acceptance testing, and personal development activities to support operational excellence.
- • Develop and maintain current knowledge of Optiv’s product offerings and the cybersecurity services industry.
- • Actively volunteer to assist peers with tasks when they are out of the office to ensure continuous operational support.
- • Build and sustain professional relationships with Client Managers and Client Directors that reflect Optiv’s Core Values.
- • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Client Operations and Renewals function.
🎯 Requirements
- • Two or more years of experience in a Business-to-Business Sales or Client Services role
- • Prior experience managing renewal contracts
- • Two years of experience in the technical or information technologies industry preferred
- • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and internet navigation
- • Required experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) software; Salesforce.com experience preferred
- • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- • Ability to build trust and relationships with internal and external partners/clients
- • Superior organizational skills, independent judgment, and functional arithmetic skills
