📋 Description

• The Senior Video Editor will edit short-form video content for platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to engage millions of consumers and elevate ad performance across Launch Potato’s brands, especially FinanceBuzz.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include editing UGC-style video ads, contributing to title and thumbnail concepts, recording a-roll and b-roll, leveraging AI tools for creative concepts, and monitoring comments across channels.
• Launch Potato is a profitable digital media company reaching over 30M+ monthly visitors through brands like FinanceBuzz, All About Cookies, and OnlyInYourState, with a remote-first team spanning over 15 countries and a high-performance culture focused on speed, ownership, and measurable impact.
• In this role, you will sharpen your creative and technical editing skills, gain experience with AI-driven video tools, deepen your understanding of short-form content strategy and paid advertising KPIs, and contribute to measurable outcomes that drive engagement and ROI.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in video editing
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere
• Experience with AI tools such as ArcAds, VEO, Nano Banana, or Claude
• Deep understanding of short-form content: hooks, storytelling, pacing, and strategy
• Proven success editing short-form content for growing accounts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
