- • Mechanical Product Engineer role focused on ensuring mechanical readiness and manufacturing excellence for NVIDIA’s networking product portfolio, bridging hardware build, NPI phase, and high-volume manufacturing.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining and improving production test fixtures, jigs, and enclosures; enforcing maintenance and calibration processes across global contract manufacturers; performing data-driven analysis of equipment limits; supporting new product introduction through mechanical readiness; coordinating with CM sites to resolve production issues; conducting quality audits; participating in design reviews; and managing Engineering Change Orders.
- • The Local Product Engineering (LPE) group works closely with contract manufacturers globally (Flex Israel, Jabil India, Foxconn Vietnam) to ensure production quality and manufacturing excellence, playing a critical role in bringing NVIDIA’s hardware innovations from prototype to mass production.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in mechanical engineering within high-volume manufacturing, gain cross-site coordination experience, influence product design through manufacturing insights, and contribute to NVIDIA’s leadership in accelerated computing and data center solutions.
🎯 Requirements
- • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- • 3+ years of experience working as a mechanical engineer in a production/manufacturing environment
- • Hands-on experience with fixture and jig design for electronics manufacturing or test
- • Strong ability to read, interpret, and review mechanical drawings and assembly drawings
- • Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (Creo Parametric / SolidWorks / similar)
- • Knowledge of maintenance and calibration processes in high-volume manufacturing
- • Experience working alongside contract manufacturers or EMS providers
- • Strong analytical skills — data-driven limit analysis and evaluation of potential hazards
- • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
