- • The Media Intern role supports the NFL UK & Ireland International Media Strategy Team in overseeing the strategy, deal execution, and licensing of NFL content outside the US to grow the league’s popularity in international markets.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting audience performance analysis and reporting across key markets, analyzing media contracts to ensure contractual obligations are met, supporting media renewals and identifying prospective partners, preparing presentations for NFL Senior Leadership and Club Ownership, managing day-to-day account management of international broadcast partners, selecting games for distribution, supporting tentpole event logistics (e.g., International Games and Super Bowl), leading daily communications with media partners via briefings, and handling ad hoc administrative tasks such as coordinating marketing asset approvals and managing team meetings.
- • The NFL UK & Ireland office manages the NFL’s business across the UK and Ireland, including staging regular-season games in London and international cities like Paris, Rio, Melbourne, Mexico, Munich, and Madrid, while also overseeing broadcast, commercial, grassroots, community, fan event, and marketing initiatives.
- • The intern will develop strong analytical and media strategy skills, gain hands-on experience in international sports business operations, build relationships with global media partners, enhance presentation and reporting abilities, and contribute to high-impact projects that expand the NFL’s global footprint.
