đź“‹ Description
- • As a Medical Operations specialist at Tandem Health, you will play a pivotal role in deploying AI-powered clinical documentation tools across NHS trusts, directly reducing administrative burden on clinicians and enabling them to focus more on patient care. This entry-level, high-impact position bridges clinical expertise with cutting-edge health technology, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of healthcare delivery in the UK.
- • You will lead end-to-end deployments of Accurx Scribe, powered by Tandem, across secondary care settings nationwide, taking full ownership from initial clinician engagement and onboarding through to successful go-lives and post-implementation support. This includes conducting hands-on training sessions, shadowing clinicians in real-world settings, providing ongoing technical and workflow support, and ensuring seamless adoption of the ambient scribe technology in fast-paced hospital environments.
- • Your role will involve extensive travel to hospital sites across the UK, with frequent on-site visits and extended periods spent at NHS Trusts to oversee rollouts, troubleshoot issues, and gather real-time feedback. You will also make regular trips to Stockholm to collaborate with the global engineering and product teams, ensuring alignment between frontline insights and product development.
- • You will drive measurable impact by collecting usage data, clinical outcomes, and user feedback to demonstrate the ROI of the AI scribe to NHS stakeholders, helping build compelling business cases for wider adoption and informing product strategy with evidence-based insights.
- • Working closely with engineers, you will refine clinical templates, optimise AI prompts, and translate frontline clinician insights into actionable product improvements, directly influencing the evolution of Tandem’s ambient scribe technology to better meet the needs of UK healthcare professionals.
- • You will act as a trusted advocate for clinicians, building strong relationships within NHS Trusts, identifying and nurturing clinical champions, and developing case studies and success stories that showcase the tangible benefits of the technology in improving workflow efficiency and clinician satisfaction.
- • In addition to deployment and support, you will assist with live product demonstrations, represent Tandem at industry events and NHS forums, and participate in commercial discussions alongside senior team members, contributing to growth initiatives and market expansion efforts across the UK healthcare landscape.
- • The Medical Operations team at Tandem is a mission-driven, collaborative unit focused on translating innovative AI solutions into real-world clinical value. You will join a diverse, fast-moving team of clinicians, technologists, and implementers who are united by a shared passion for improving healthcare through thoughtful, user-centered technology.
- • This role offers unparalleled opportunities to grow your expertise at the intersection of clinical practice, health technology, and product implementation. You will gain deep experience in change management, user training, AI prompt engineering, healthcare data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration — skills that are highly transferable and increasingly valuable in the evolving digital health sector.
🎯 Requirements
- • Recent clinical qualification or early-career clinical background (e.g., FY1/FY2 doctor, physician associate, registered nurse, allied health professional, or recent medical graduate) with hands-on patient care experience.
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to engage, train, and support clinicians in high-pressure healthcare environments.
- • Excellent organisational abilities and a process-driven mindset, capable of managing multiple deployment timelines, travel schedules, and stakeholder expectations simultaneously.
- • Genuine passion for healthcare innovation, AI, and technology’s potential to reduce clinician burnout and improve patient outcomes.
- • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the UK, including extended on-site stays at NHS Trusts, and periodic trips to Stockholm for team collaboration.
- • Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and adaptability — comfortable learning quickly, taking responsibility, and iterating based on feedback in a fast-paced startup environment.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to work on a mission-critical health-tech product that is actively reducing administrative burden for over 200,000 NHS clinicians and improving patient care delivery.
- • Comprehensive mentorship and professional development from experienced clinicians, product leaders, and engineers within a supportive, high-performing team.
- • Exposure to cutting-edge AI in healthcare, including hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), prompt optimisation, and clinical AI product development.
- • Hybrid work model based in London with regular travel to NHS sites across the UK and periodic collaboration trips to Stockholm, fostering both local impact and global team connection.
- • Involvement in real-world product shaping — your frontline insights will directly influence template design, AI behaviour, and feature prioritisation through close collaboration with engineering teams.
- • Career-building experience in health-tech implementation, change management, and customer-facing roles, with clear pathways for growth within Tandem’s expanding UK and global operations.
