  • • As a Medical Sales Account Manager at Medline Industries, LP, you will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of nurturing and expanding our existing client base within the dynamic healthcare sector. This remote position, based in Indiana, offers a unique opportunity to drive revenue growth by managing a dedicated portfolio of accounts and serving as the primary point of contact for all Medline products and services. Your role will be pivotal in fostering strong, long-term relationships with a defined customer base, ensuring an exceptionally high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • • Your core mission will involve a proactive approach to account management. This includes meticulously reviewing existing accounts to identify opportunities for upselling new business and strategically converting accounts to higher-value tiers. You will also be instrumental in the successful installation of new accounts, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our clients.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be to actively create demand for Medline's comprehensive range of products and services. This will be achieved through strategic engagement with both National and Regional accounts, understanding their evolving needs and aligning our offerings to meet those demands.
  • • You will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust sales territory, with a particular focus on smaller accounts situated in secondary and tertiary markets. In these areas, your primary focus will be on cultivating strong sales pipelines and fostering deep, meaningful customer relationships that drive repeat business and referrals.
  • • Regular status and strategy meetings with clients will be a cornerstone of your responsibilities. These interactions are crucial for gaining a profound understanding of their unique challenges and objectives, enabling you to effectively link their needs to Medline's innovative product and service strategies. This consultative approach ensures that we are not just a vendor, but a trusted partner.
  • • Collaboration with internal teams will be essential. You will be tasked with coordinating sales forecasts, ensuring accurate projections and resource allocation. Furthermore, you will manage co-op accruals, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, and meticulously set up new customers within Medline's sophisticated internal systems, guaranteeing operational efficiency.
  • • While focused on existing accounts, you will also contribute to product development by identifying opportunities for new products that can be introduced to both existing and new customers. Your insights from the field will be invaluable in shaping our product roadmap and ensuring market relevance.
  • • Ultimately, your success will be measured by your ability to significantly increase the revenue spend per account. This will be achieved through a combination of strategic selling, exceptional relationship management, and a deep understanding of the healthcare market and Medline's value proposition.
