📋 Description

• As a Member of Technical Staff in Networking at Pure Storage, you will contribute to the FlashBlade team, which builds high-performance, highly available storage products for mission-critical applications, enabling customers to leverage cloud agility without downtime.
• You will engage in full life cycle software development, including architecture, design, coding in C and Python, debugging, integration with existing infrastructure, requirements analysis, and ongoing maintenance and documentation of software functionality.
• You will join a collaborative, globally distributed team of software engineers (over 90% of the engineering staff) focused on innovating in data storage, where your work supports cutting-edge upgrades and seamless customer experiences.
• You will deepen your expertise in networking protocols, Linux systems development, and switch silicon features while growing your impact in a culture that values innovation, growth, teamwork, and inclusive leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• 4-7+ years of experience developing on Linux or other *NIX variants at a product company
• Hands-on experience with Broadcom SDK and familiarity with modern switch silicon packet processing (ECMP, QoS, packet filtering)
• Experience in systems development including IPv4/IPv6 networking protocols, API design, distributed systems, and/or device drivers
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, algorithmic, and coding skills in C and Python
• Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented, globally distributed environment with self-discipline and self-motivation
