- • Skio Inc. is seeking a dynamic and process-oriented Merchant Success Associate to join our rapidly growing team. This pivotal role is designed for an individual who thrives on empowering businesses and driving scalable growth. You will be the primary architect of success for our expanding base of Growth tier merchants on the Shopify platform, ensuring they not only adopt but master Skio's subscription solutions. Your mission is to impact hundreds of businesses simultaneously by developing and implementing robust systems, engaging content, and strategic programs that foster their long-term success and loyalty.
- • As the architect of our 'one-to-many' success model, you will be instrumental in designing and executing a comprehensive scaled success program. This involves conceptualizing and running engaging webinars that educate large cohorts of merchants on best practices and advanced features. You will also develop and deploy automated email campaigns and in-app messaging sequences, meticulously crafted to guide merchants toward achieving subscription excellence and maximizing their revenue potential. Your efforts will ensure that every merchant, regardless of size, receives consistent, high-value guidance.
- • A critical aspect of your role will be owning the 'First 90 Days' of the merchant lifecycle. Your objective is to create an onboarding experience so seamless, intuitive, and value-driven that merchants experience their 'aha!' moment almost instantly. This rapid time-to-value is crucial for long-term retention and success, and you will be responsible for optimizing every touchpoint to ensure merchants are set up for immediate wins and ongoing engagement with the Skio platform.
- • You will collaborate closely with our Marketing and Product teams to conceptualize, develop, and deploy high-impact educational resources. This includes creating compelling video tutorials that demystify complex functionalities, authoring best-practice guides that offer actionable insights, and writing clear, concise 'how-to' articles that empower merchants to leverage Skio's features effectively. Your ability to translate technical capabilities into simple, user-friendly content will be key to driving product adoption and merchant self-sufficiency.
- • Proactive churn mitigation will be a core responsibility. You will continuously monitor key merchant health metrics, identifying early warning signs of potential churn or dissatisfaction. Upon detection, you will implement scalable, proactive outreach strategies designed to address roadblocks, offer solutions, and re-engage merchants, ensuring their continued success and retention within the Skio ecosystem.
- • You will become a true expert on the Skio platform, deeply understanding its capabilities and how they translate into tangible ROI for merchants. Your role involves demonstrating to merchants how to leverage our core features to simplify their operations, increase customer lifetime value, and ultimately drive their business growth. This deep product knowledge will enable you to provide strategic guidance and unlock new opportunities for our merchants.
- • Your overarching mission is to champion self-service and empower our merchant base. This involves building and curating a comprehensive library of resources – from knowledge base articles and FAQs to video guides and community forums – that enable merchants to find answers and solutions independently. By fostering a culture of self-service, you will reduce reliance on direct support and enhance the overall merchant experience, driving efficiency and satisfaction.
- • This role demands a highly organized and process-driven individual who can manage a high volume of merchant interactions without compromising quality. You will be expected to maintain meticulous records, track progress, and proactively manage your workload in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. Your ability to develop and refine processes will be essential as Skio continues to scale.
- • You will be a resourceful and scrappy problem-solver, comfortable with ambiguity and eager to contribute to building the foundational processes of a rapidly expanding company. Instead of waiting for a playbook, you will be instrumental in creating it, identifying innovative and scalable solutions to meet the evolving needs of our merchant base.

🎯 Requirements
- • 1-8 Years of Experience in a fast-paced customer-facing role (e.g., Customer Success, Onboarding Specialist, Sales Development, Technical Support), ideally within the subscription economy or e-commerce/Shopify ecosystem.
- • Demonstrated experience or strong aptitude for using automation tools (e.g., CRM, email sequencing platforms, in-app messaging tools) for scaled communication and process management.
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information into clear, actionable, and engaging content for a business audience.
- • Highly organized and process-driven with a proven ability to manage a high volume of tasks and accounts efficiently, even in a fast-paced environment.
