- • The Microsoft 365 Governance Administrator will play a critical role in shaping and operating Microsoft 365 governance across the organization, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient collaboration environments.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading governance initiatives across SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform; assessing and remediating legacy configurations and over-permissioned content; designing least-privilege permission models; managing lifecycle, retention, and records management; supporting M&A-related tenant migrations; and automating governance using PowerShell, Power Automate, Microsoft Graph, and AvePoint.
- • The role sits within Precision Medicine Group’s growing IT and collaboration infrastructure team, supporting a Clinical Research Organization focused on precision medicine, rare diseases, and oncology, with close partnership across Legal, GRC, Security, and M&A stakeholders.
- • The person in this role will gain deep expertise in enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 governance, automation, compliance reporting, and tenant modernization—positioning them as a trusted advisor in secure collaboration and data protection at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 administration with deep SharePoint Online experience
- • Proven experience cleaning up, governing, and modernizing enterprise M365 tenants
- • Strong background in permissions management, lifecycle governance, retention, and compliance-driven collaboration
- • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analyzing large data sets (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas)
- • Strong automation capability using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Power Automate, and SharePoint Advanced Management
- • Experience partnering with Legal, GRC, and Security teams on retention and data protection initiatives
