• • We are seeking a talented and experienced Middle/Senior Software Engineer with a strong Java background to join our dynamic team in São Paulo. • • **Backend Service Development & Enhancement:** Design, develop, and implement sophisticated backend services using Java, with a focus on modern frameworks like Spring Boot and Quarkus. You will be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code that forms the backbone of our clients' applications.
• • **Platform Maintenance & Evolution:** Engage in both corrective and evolutive maintenance of the Calypso platform, a critical system within the financial domain. This involves diagnosing and resolving issues, as well as implementing enhancements to improve functionality, performance, and scalability.
• • **API Development & System Integration:** Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs that enable seamless communication between different systems and services. You will also be responsible for integrating various third-party applications and internal systems, ensuring data consistency and operational efficiency.
• • **Cloud-Native Development:** Leverage your expertise in cloud environments, specifically AWS, to deploy, manage, and scale applications. You will contribute to building cloud-native solutions that are resilient, cost-effective, and highly available.
• • **Collaborative Development Practices:** Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and incorporating feedback into your own work. Engage in technical refinement sessions to ensure alignment on design decisions and best practices.

• • **Database Management:** Work with both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB), designing efficient data models and writing optimized queries.
• • **Messaging & Event Streaming:** Implement and manage solutions involving messaging and event streaming systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, or SNS, enabling asynchronous communication and event-driven architectures.
• • **Microservices & Containerization:** Contribute to the design and implementation of microservices architectures, utilizing containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes to ensure scalable and resilient deployments.
• • **Observability & Monitoring:** Apply observability best practices, including structured logging, metrics collection, and health checks, using tools like DataDog to ensure application health and performance are continuously monitored.
• • **Testing & Quality Assurance:** Champion a culture of quality by implementing comprehensive testing strategies, including unit testing with JUnit and integration/contract testing with tools like Postman/Newman.
• • **CI/CD Pipeline Contribution:** Participate in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, ensuring automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• • **Software Engineering Principles:** Apply a strong understanding of fundamental software engineering principles, including Design Patterns, SOLID principles, Clean Code practices, and the 12-Factor App methodology, to build high-quality, maintainable software.
