- • The Middle Site Reliability Engineer (CDN & DevOps) will manage and improve globally distributed edge infrastructure, with a focus on CDN configurations using Fastly and Varnish VCL, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of services across multiple regions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring and optimizing CDN performance, troubleshooting edge network issues, automating infrastructure tasks, collaborating with development teams to improve deployment pipelines, and implementing observability and alerting for edge services.
- • Provectus Inc. is a technology company specializing in cloud-native solutions, data engineering, and DevOps services, serving clients globally with a distributed engineering team across Armenia, Poland, and Serbia.
- • In this role, the engineer will deepen expertise in CDN technologies, gain hands-on experience with large-scale edge infrastructure, improve skills in automation and observability, and contribute to mission-critical systems that impact global user experiences.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience with CDN technologies, particularly Fastly and Varnish VCL
- • Proficiency in DevOps practices including CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation
- • Strong troubleshooting skills for network and performance issues in distributed systems
- • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote, globally distributed team environment
