ML Engineering Lead

📋 Description

• • As the ML Engineering Lead at Saris AI Inc., you will own and lead the ML/AI function end-to-end, setting technical direction and standards across the company while architecting and guiding the development of multi-modal, agentic AI systems that power real-world workflows in the banking industry.
• • Day to day, you will define and oversee evaluation frameworks, datasets, and performance metrics to continuously improve agent quality, drive productionization of ML systems ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance, and build and mentor a high-performing ML team by setting best practices across modeling, experimentation, and deployment.
• • Saris AI is a San Francisco, Montreal, and Toronto-based applied AI startup tackling a $100 billion/year problem in the banking industry by building multi-turn AI agentic systems for long-context reasoning, tool orchestration across legacy systems, and strict compliance loops, with real agents already handling customer workflows in production and backing from Tier 1 Silicon Valley VCs.
