  • • Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously document the overall condition of vehicles, adhering strictly to Manheim's inspection parameters, ensuring accuracy and completeness in every report.
  • • This role is pivotal in building and maintaining strong client relationships, demonstrating the tangible value of the Manheim Marketplace, and actively encouraging clients to submit more inventory for inspection through the delivery of high-quality, timely, and reliable inspection services.
  • • You are expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, performing your duties with minimal guidance and supervision, while continuously developing your independence and problem-solving capabilities.
  • • The ideal candidate will reside in or near Santa Ana, CA, as this position requires you to be physically present at a specified Cox location and travel extensively within your assigned territory.
  • • You will conduct thorough vehicle inspections, meticulously examining all aspects of a vehicle's condition, from its exterior and interior to its mechanical components.
  • • This includes locating, starting, safely moving, inspecting, and returning vehicles on dealer and client lots, ensuring operational efficiency and safety protocols are always followed.
  • • A key part of your role involves verifying vehicle identification and accurately inputting all relevant vehicle information, including VIN, mileage, and sub-series, into the inspection system.
  • • You will meticulously inspect vehicle equipment and options, documenting any damage, missing items, or inoperable features with precision.
  • • The inspection extends to the vehicle's exterior, covering tires, frame, glass, panels, and mechanical components, as well as the interior, including seats, dashboard, and all options.

  • • You will be responsible for preparing and submitting daily activity reports to management, providing clear and concise summaries of your work.
  • • Adaptability is crucial; you must be able to pivot and adjust to changes in daily appointments to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness during each dealer visit.
  • • Cultivating a deep understanding of clients within your territory is essential. You will collaborate closely with partners to foster ongoing engagement with Manheim mobile inspections through proactive, on-lot interactions.
  • • You will receive and leverage data and insights from partners to optimize the volume of units inspected on dealer lots, contributing directly to business growth.
  • • As a brand ambassador for Cox Automotive, you will provide a premier client experience by regularly interfacing with core clients and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
  • • You will function as a dedicated team player, working collaboratively with the Wholesale Specialist team, your peers, other Manheim workgroups, and auction personnel.
  • • Proficiency in utilizing Salesforce.com for reporting, lead input, and customer performance reviews will be a key aspect of your role.
  • • A solid understanding of the NAAA Frame/Structure Damage Policy is required to ensure consistent and accurate damage assessments.

  • • You will be responsible for floor plan audits, which involves reading and interpreting financial documents and possessing a basic understanding of accounting practices.
